Jamshid Hashimi
Founder and 2026 program lead
Jamshid is a passionate technologist, innovation enthusiast, and software engineer with more than a decade of experience. He founded CodeWeekend in Kabul on June 4, 2014, and has led the community ever since. Today he leads instruction for the 2026 cohort, guiding students through the structured curriculum.
Board
CodeWeekend is incorporated as a nonprofit society in British Columbia, Canada. The public source material available for this migration did not identify the current directors, so board names will be published after they are confirmed.
