Donate Mentor Apply for the next cohort

Why donations matter

CodeWeekend is free for participants. That doesn’t mean it’s free to run. The 2026 Web & AI Bootcamp receives scholarship and access support from the Linda Norgrove Foundation, with operational costs and supplementary support coming from individual donors and partner organizations.

Donations make the un-glamorous parts of the program possible — the things that turn an admitted applicant into a graduate.

What your donation does

AmountCovers
$25One month of internet access for one participant
$100A laptop power adapter, hardware support, or a week of mentor stipends
$500A laptop, refurbished or new, for a participant who needs one
$2,500A full cohort seat — twelve weeks of live instruction for one student
$10,000A named scholarship or program sponsorship for the next cohort

Recurring giving

Recurring giving — even at $10/month — is what lets us plan. We can commit to running the next cohort because we know recurring donors will still be giving when that cohort starts. It’s the difference between running on hope and running on a budget.

How to give

For now, please get in touch directly to arrange a donation:

donate@codeweekend.net

We’re setting up direct online giving — once that’s live, this page will update with the link.

For larger gifts, foundation grants, or if you want to designate where your donation goes (general fund, a specific cohort, instructor compensation, or a particular cost like internet/laptops), email partnerships@codeweekend.net.

Tax treatment

CodeWeekend is incorporated as a non-profit society in British Columbia, Canada. We are working toward charitable status with the Canada Revenue Agency, which will allow us to issue official donation receipts.

For Canadian donors: official donation receipts will be available once we receive charitable status.

For donors elsewhere: please consult your local tax authority’s rules on charitable contributions to overseas-equivalent organizations.
